Online advertising company BlueLithium Inc. said it named Frank Guzzardo vice president of Eastern sales. He is the first to hold the position at the profitable company.
Guzzardo was most recently eastern regional sales manager for ValueClick Media. He has also held positions at organizations including Business Finance Magazine, Nest Egg Magazine, Futures Magazine and IDD Journals.
BlueLithium Chief Executive Gurbaksh Chahal said Guzzardo has a "great outstanding reputation in the advertising community on the east coast."
In February BlueLithium said it had closed on $11.5 million in venture capital from investors including WaldenVC and 3i.
The San Jose-based company has about 55 employees and expects to double in size within six to nine months. The company plans to open a London office in four to six weeks. It also has offices in New York, Chicago and San Francisco.
