BlueLithium Names Scott L. Kauffman President and Chief Operating Officer

Experienced Leader in Online Advertising, Publishing and Technology to Help Guide Fast Growing Ad Network

San Jose, CA - September 5, 2006 - BlueLithium announced today that Scott L. Kauffman has been named to the new post of president and chief operating officer. He joins BlueLithium from Zinio, a pioneer in digital publishing and marketing services, which he has led since 2004.

"We're growing rapidly, which requires the attention of both a CEO and a president," said Gurbaksh Chahal, founder, chairman and CEO of BlueLithium. "We've been very deliberate with our selection process and I'm confident Scott is the right person. He has deep experience in traditional and online publishing along with advertising and Web technology. He'll be a great asset to the senior leadership team as well as a great partner for me as we take BlueLithium to the next level."

Mr. Kauffman's background includes leadership positions at CompuServe and Time Warner, where he served for five years on the founding team of Entertainment Weekly magazine and as vice president of business development for Time Warner Interactive. At CompuServe, he was responsible for all consumer businesses and was a member of the road show team for the company's 1996 initial public offering. Prior to Time Warner, he was also a publisher and general manager at Newsweek.

Mr. Kauffman was recruited to Silicon Valley in 1997 by Kleiner Perkins to become president & CEO of third-party ad serving company AdKnowledge, which was founded by Dave Zinman who is currently senior vice president of products for BlueLithium. After selling AdKnowledge to CMGI in 1999, Mr. Kauffman ran eCoverage (direct-to-consumer insurance), MusicNow (online music service) and Coremetrics, a leader in web analytics, where he remains a member of the Board of Directors.

"I'm excited to join BlueLithium, which is leading the way for a new generation of ad networks," said Mr. Kauffman. "Gurbaksh and his team have created the ability to turn user data from billions of ad serving interactions into higher ROI for advertisers and higher inventory value for publishers. I look forward to helping the company fully capitalize on this opportunity."

Mr. Kauffman holds an AB in English from Vassar College and an MBA in marketing from New York University's Graduate School of Business. He was honored by Advertising Age in 1996 as one of twenty Digital Media Masters. In July of 1992, Advertising Age named him one of the top 100 marketers in the country.
